Brothers and Sisters,
As we pause this Veterans Day, I want to take a moment to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States. Their courage, sacrifice, and unbreakable spirit have preserved the freedoms and opportunities that make our nation great. We owe each of them—and their families—a debt that can never truly be repaid.
Many of our own ILA members are veterans, and we are proud to call them brothers and sisters. Their strength, discipline, and sense of duty continue to shine on our docks, in our halls, and in every port where the ILA flag flies. They remind us every day that the values of service and solidarity go hand in hand.
On behalf of the South Atlantic and Gulf Coast District, I thank every veteran for your service to our country—and I thank every ILA member for your continued dedication to this great union. It’s because of your commitment, your hard work, and your unity that we continue to grow stronger together.
May God bless our veterans, our members, and the United States of America.
In Solidarity,
Alan Robb
President
South Atlantic and Gulf Coast District
