On behalf of the Executive Officers of the International Longshoremen’s Association, I want to wish our 85,000 members and their families a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving 2023. We are all blessed to be members of the greatest union in America, and throughout the world. I am thankful for your support to allow me to lead this powerful longshore union as your International President.
Beyond this wonderful American holiday of Thanksgiving, where families and friends come together, I will offer prayers on this Day for our ILA, for our members and their families, and for success going forward as we enter into critically important negotiations on our next Master Contract and local agreements.
We are blessed to have so much to be thankful for, and I wish you safe journeys if you are travelling on this Holiday Weekend. Keep those less fortunate in your Thanksgiving Prayers and may our beloved United States of America remain safe, strong and a beacon of hope for the entire world. Happy Thanksgiving.
